“The use of multiple fictions in our creative project is our collective efforts at revitalise the history with our creative lenses, to add blood and flesh into that period of time with greater acceptability and liking among youth. Although we might have fictionize the story characters (instead of reproducing a realistic paint of the images), but we believe that our use of music, plots and the overall style have accurately reproduced Eileen Chang’s novel and its broader connotation.” — Project Rationale
