Event Details

In the academic year 2023/2024, the Hong Kong Studies Initiative presents a series of film screenings, conversations, talks, and associated events to explore the sharing of experience and the production of knowledge in Hong Kong, Canada, and beyond.

This series is organized by the UBC Hong Kong Studies Initiative and generously co-sponsored by: Department of Asian Studies, Centre for Chinese Research, and Public Humanities Hub.

Our other event partners include UBC Asian Library, SFU Institute for Transpacific Cultural Research, Vancouver Hong Kong Forum Society, and South Taiwan Film Festival.
